Hatve

Hatve is the god of hunting and warriors, representing an offensive strength (unlike Durcata, who prefers stability and defense) and the natural order. His followers are often monster hunters, those who keep the beast populations from growing too rapidly. He is also very popular in Aspects that rely on hunting or fishing as their main exports.   Hatve represents nature in its most competitive form and is thus often worshipped by those who compete often; athletes, arena fighters, and various others. He is neither fair nor unfair, with his blessing disappearing as fast as it came, and is thus often named as one of the most chaotic and even unreliable of the Syolladver.   The holy symbol of Hatve is an arrow, pointing upwards, with ivy curling its way around it. While sometimes followers carry a depiction of this symbol, archers in particular wrap ivy around one of their arrows and keep it in their quiver during the time they wish for Hatve to lend them strength.   The most important things to followers of Hatve are survival and perseverance. This is always focused on a species as a whole, not on individuals within a species, meaning they do not look down on the poor or unfortunate. Their focus most often lies on monsters, who prey on people, and how to survive when such populations grow. In certain interpretations, those that oppress and seek destruction are also seen as “predators” of a sort.
