Session 1

The land is corrupted and food is scarce for the animals of the Echo Forest. While traveling the road to Chadtown, the halfling Chad Nightbloom drove his cart through a bunch of webs, alerting two giant spiders, stalking for prey, to our heroes pressence. A battle ensued, and both spiders were killed. This was not the only setback on their journey however, because a few miles further in a group of bandit had set up an ambush, something that struck Chad as being odd since these are not highly travelled roads. The bandit were dealt with, something with which a couple of emaciated wolves were very glad with.   When our heroes arrived in Chadtown they left the halfling Chad to his affairs, and grabbed a meal at the local inn. Arriving there they learned the inn was no longer serving wine, because the staff was affraid of going down to the cellar. By speaking to the cook they found out one of the waitresses had been bitten by a rat and had since taken ill. The cook hired our heroes to get rid of the rats.   They managed to kill the rats in the winecellar, but unfortunately Vadania had been bitten in the proces...
