Chadtown
Chadtown is a strange place. Located deep inside the Echo Forest it has lost touch with the rest of civilization. Although mainly a human settlement in these days, some other races are also present in town. Because of its location and origins the town is much more tolerant towards the halflings and halfelfs that live in the town than normal humans would. The town's population lies around 250, most of these people work in the nearby crystal mine.
History
In the year 500 AS humans seized control of the elven city Laumothrond, resulting in the mining settlement called Chadtown. Most of the male elfs were killed during the seige, the rest of the males ran away into the wilds. The females too fled the city, although one or two must have left behind explaining the population of halfelfs living in chadtown now.Buildings
The settlement ... At the back of town a lot of the old buildings have been taken down to make room for farmland. The outer ring of the original city consists mostly of uninhabited old elven buildings ----> reclaimed by wildEconomy
Most of the shops and services are based around the work being done in the nearby mines. The blacksmith's main work is repairing pickaxes for the mineworkers.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
