Humble Beginnings
We first meet our heroes on a road in the Echo Forest, a few hours away from the small settlement of Chadtown. Heskan, a black dragonborn who is a cleric for the church of Silvanus, is tasked to retreive some ancient scrolls from a long abandoned temple in the area. A helpful halfling Chad Nightbloom offered to give him a ride through the Echo Forest, hiring the elf Vadania Naïlo to guide them through the woods.
