Madilyn
Madilyn is a young human woman that works as a bartender. The young woman is quiet and a bit of a homebody, preferring to staying indoors while welcoming others in. Those who know Madilyn personally recognize her as a very sweet and kind person, if not a bit socially awkward. Growing up under the care of a loving and accepting community has helped with some of her issues but she is far from the person she could have been.
Madilyn tries her best to be competent in her tasks as a bartender but was never fully trained. This does not mean she does not make a very good effort as she goes out of her way to make a good effort and be proactive if she sees something needs to be done. Sometimes it can be hard for Madilyn to maintain friendships as some might find her awkward in social development or her facial scars too unsettling.
Madilyn normally dons a simple tunic with a pinned cloak, accompanied with work trousers. The young girl always wears thick leather boots, padded to protect and cushion her feet. While not a norm, Madilyn will on occasion fashion her wild hair in a ponytail with a simple leather band brought together with a simple copper pin.

Madilyn's face carries the scar tissue from the fire that burned her family's tavern down in her youth. The scar carries from the side of her face and travels down to her shoulder blade.
Special abilities
- Madilyn carries a small amount of magical energy within her blood. The woman sometimes uses Prestidigitation as a sort of 'parlor trick' to heat and cool drinks for an extra few coins. Despite her past issues with fire, Madilyn uses this magic to light taverns up if in a hurry. This fact in itself has shown she has overcame some of her fears of flames.

Madilyn suffered from a sort of PTSD linked to traumatic events of her past. In stressful situations, Madilyn will freeze up and retreat into her own mind, reliving the night she lost her mother and father. Outside sources attempting to reach her can sometimes drive her deeper into herself.

Madilyn is versatile with lutes, taking up the art at a young age and still perfecting it as part of her job requirements. She knows many songs and can be found on occasion plucking at strings and creating new melodies in private. Another keen skill she has picked up in her craft is the science behind brewing and still maintaining.
Likes & Dislikes
- The young woman is a good cook when it comes to basic recipes. One thing that she has not been able to nail down as much is the art of baking. Sweets can be a luxury at times and these days it rings even more true. Madilyn is particularly prone to having a sweet tooth for such.
- While Madilyn is in no means a pushover, she deplores confrontation. She can easily be talked down in her decisions but might hold lingering feelings of resentment that she does her best not to act on.

While Madilyn follows the traditions of Bastesh and will pay tribute to the others of the pantheon, she is deeply opposed to Creagus. In her eyes, Creagus promotes a constant cycle of war and bloodshed. It is beneficial for Creagus to keep this cycle and favor his 'champions' so it will promote more followers. She believes the soldiers that burned her father's tavern down were those dominion troops that followed the god of war and retribution.
