It really depends on what you're going for, and what works best for you. History
Spell Tomes were codified in the very beginnings of Practitioners as a whole, as a way to record and study the Arcane.
Significance
A Practitioner's Spell Tome is an insight into who they are as a person, and will often reveal their deepest secrets and their methods of Arcane Manipulation.
