Wendy Salmoth
Wendy Salmoth was a mage at the Free Union of Magical Scholars who began the first serious study of the "leakages" from the Dark Domains.
She travelled widely whilst still young and collected information about many of the strange entities which had appeared on the different continents of Magicians' End over the last couple of centuries. The result of all this research was the book Shadows and Manifestations, published in 4545 APC, in which she clearly identified for the first time a common cause behind all the apparently different pheonomina.
In 4571 APC, Wendy Salmoth organised a survey of the Hylacon Gates, finding that they had become more damaged than anyone suspected.
