The Basilica of Bright Hope
The Basilica of Bright Hope is a grand public building in the city of Zalgurim, constructed on the orders of Emperor Dravidik I and completed in 4318 BPC. It was built to act as a centre for the Imperial Faith in the capital of the Old Pale Empire, providing a locus for the spiritual services of the new religion, that were being formalised even as the building rose over the streets of the city.
Although the Imperial Faith and the Old Pale Empire are both now consigned to ancient history, the Basilica of Bright Hope survives to the present day and has been used as a mausoleum for the great and the good of Zalgurim in the intervening centuries.
