Asher Voss was born as the third son of a minor aristocratic family whose wealth came from interests in ship building in the port city of Tarris.
He moved to Quarowl in his early 30s, hoping to develop his limited arcane skills at the Institute of Magical Analytics.
Asher took control of the Unbound in 3110 APC when he defeated and killed Galderbrock Red in an arcane contest for the leadership. His life was in turn ended in 3136 APC when Avelin Saerkh beat him in a magical duel.
