"Scrud Eats Everything Land"
"Scrud Eats Everything Land" is Gate setting #13 on the Triton Gate Network. As far as it's been observed, it is a humid, verdant jungle.
The ruins of multiple alien exploration teams have been discovered here. One area of ruins is what appears to be a cavern filled with poisonous gasses, molds, lichens, and strange biological intruments. The other is a more well-understood collection of synthetic tech created by the Anansi.
As discovered by the Anansi, "Scrud Eats Everything Land" has several unique features.
The planet is unusually massive for a terrestrial world - approximately the same size as Jupiter. Despite this mass, its gravitational pull is not extremely high.
The planet's flora and fauna lack genetic dead-ends such as vestigial organs, suggesting that it was purposefully manufactured.
Additionally, it seems that there is some sort of orbital defense system around the planet. Drones launched into space have been destroyed before delivering their payloads.
Geography
Only the area directly surrounding the portal has been observed. It appears fairly flat, with good soil, and extremely verdant. A moist, humid jungle terrain surrounds the Gate.

Fauna & Flora
"Scrud Eats Everything Land" is a veritable cornucopia of life. It has life at every level - microbacteria all the way to megafauna. It also has what appear to be massive trees, climbing vines, flowers, brush, and more. It seems more biodiverse than pre-industrial Earth.
Scrud's experiments with eating random things turned up nothing particularly memorable. To her, everything tasted pointless and tasteless, like unflavored tofu.
The group encountered a dangerous creature that appeared like a scaly, eyeless tusked bear. It attacked the group on sight and continued to fight until it was dead.
