The False Killing

Tavern Career
Early Tavern History - The Wooden Maid
Fulso’s earliest recorded tavern venture was the founding of The Wooden Maid deep in the Great Forest of Juru. Despite sixteen years of operation, the tavern saw only two guests, an experience Fulso never speaks of. It taught him patience, observation, and the subtle currents of human and Juru behavior – skills that would serve him for centuries.
Mizar – Rise to Prestige
The Lucky Bastard
Seeking a livelier environment, Fulso moved to Mizar and took charge of The Lucky Bastard, a notoriously rough and chaotic den. Here, he gained recognition for his ability to maintain control over rowdy patrons and the city’s underworld. His tenure at The Lucky Bastard established his reputation as someone who could navigate danger with wit and resilience.
Crooked Tom
The Crooked Tom is a notorious tavern in Mizar, founded by Fulso during his rise to prominence. Known for its rough patrons and chaotic atmosphere, the tavern is as unpredictable as the city itself. Patrons can offer information, rumors, or secrets in place of coin, making the tavern a hub of gossip, intrigue, and hidden influence.
Alkor – The Bacalar
Eventually, Fulso relocated to Alkor, founding the Bacalar, his most famous establishment and one that still stands today. Unlike his previous ventures, the Bacalar became a hub of knowledge, secrets, and subtle influence, attracting travelers, merchants, and those seeking discreet counsel. Fulso remained the ever-present observer at this place for more than two thousand years, quietly collecting stories and histories from everyone who entered.
From the lonely Wooden Maid to the chaotic Green Machine, Fulso’s taverns have always been both sanctuaries and observatories, places where lives intersect and histories are quietly recorded by a bartender who never seems to age.
