Castle Morn

This castle is hundreds of years old, quite ancient you see. As the tale goes, in 796, Year of the Gray Mists, the Morn family under the leadership of the unremembered Morn warriors slew it’s vampiric dwellers. It was speculated that it was built by the vampires but we have no evidence for such notions. Recorded family history begins with Colderan Morn, who rests in the crypts below. He kept stone journals that are stored in the crypts as well. He was a sage who became twisted with his desire to travel to the Nine Hells to control dark powers. Eventually these dark powers consumed him and he was slain by the fiends in his refractory. He caused considerable strife with the Dwarven Brightbalde Clan and forced them from the Eagles Eyrie. Many, many years ago Belard, the wolf slayer, Morn was born and restored relations with the Clan. Since then the Castle has been attacked by the Zentraium several times and every time we have managed to repel them each time with greater success thanks to this mighty fortress. It is the strength and roots for all the family and freedom fighters. We are the strongest we have been in years. Samuel has fostered a vast network of spies and not to mentioned stocked our larders overflowing with winter supplies.
