Acid Blob
A small, ballistic form of ooze.
Basic Information
Anatomy
When gathered into a sphere, Acid Blobs have an average diameter of 1-2 feet. Being amorphous, however, they do not retain any particular shape, instead oozing into whatever form is needed to pass through a space. Their acidic bodies erode and dissolve both meat and metal, allowing them to metabolize the latter.
Ecology and Habitats
Acid Blobs are found in nearly every environment, but are more common in the lower realms and in subterranean, damp environs.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Indiscriminate carnivores, feeding on carrion and live prey of all species.
Behaviour
Like most oozes, acid blobs are mindless and motivated only by sustenance. Their preferred method of motion, especially when attacking or moving toward a meal, is to gather their mass into enough solidity to bounce off of solid surfaces.
