Ninefold Academy of Artificers
The Ninefold Academy of Artificers has three branches of it's organization with the primary campus being in the city of Hama. All are within the Kingdom of Durain . It is known as the ninefold academy based on the nine schools of magical disciplines. It is only one theory on how magic is organized.
The Academy teaches that the nine paths of magic are: Elementalism, Spirit Manipulation, Pysiomancy, Oraculism, Ultrism, Energism, Axism, Geomancy, and Lattimancy.
Elementalism is the manipulation of the elements such as fire, water, air, wood and others.
Spirit Manipulation is related to psychic, healing, and necromantic and others.
Physiomancy relates to the restoration of the body and its enhancement and changes. Popular among clerics and saints.
Oraculism is divination by another name, the domain of time and distance. It is one of the smallest divisions.
Ultrism relates to alteration of physical matter and it's transformation. This includes maipulation of materials for construction and manufacture. It is currently being provided a lot funding for it's developments, and reconstruction of old manufacturing techniques.
Energism is related to primal energies such as light, force and others. Everything from pyrotechnics style displays to recordings of visuals and sound. It is quite popular as a serires of side courses. Great for pranks and entertainement.
Axism related to dimensional travel, pocket dimensions etc. It includes abilities that allow for bags with a larger interior storage, as well as the ability to transport people across long distances. They have recently gotten several medium size Mystic Engines active for the purpose of powering inter-realm gates.
Geomancy relates to power derived from ley lines and natural energies. This division is almost as small as oraculism as it is hard to study and is often just based on personal ability and not consistent in results for formal testing. The exception relates to the ley line manipulation division. Elves are the most associated with this school.
Lattimancy refers to the creation of complex conduits of various other schools of magic. This school deals primarially with complex magic devices. This is the largest school within the academy. Gnomes are known fir their skill at this work.
Structure
The academy is lead by the president with the council of deans. Each branch campus has a head dean to run things there. Each dean has multiple professors that report to them. The exception being the dean of facilities who is often not a professor or sometimes not a mage. The Dean of Facilities is over the Directors of supplies, grounds, security and libraries. The libraries having their own specific security force for handling the vaults.
Each professor manages their class load with the administravie secretariat. Entracne for students is based on a two tier system. One for paying students which requires a fee assessment and a simiple admissions test. Second, there are the special scholarship students. These must be sponsored by a professor or dean, and pass a more rigorous testing.

The libraries and vaults provide much information. Though they tend to be lacking in the manufacturing details for many of the parts and devices described. Especially at scale. The Academy also is able to keep maintenance on many of the Tions and Cartaries in the nation. This allows for more magical lighting and transport than found in many other nations.
History
The original Academy was founded under the Minam Empire hundreds of years ago. Before that they were several seperate institutions going back almost five hundred years. During the late Minam period they had almost twenty branch campus locations outside Bellflower and another six within Bellflower.
Demography and Population
The campus locations are mostly filled with professors, students and support staff. A such there are many adolescents. Many marry and have kids while at the academy.
