Elves
High Elves are a strange group biologically, they are unlike humans, gnomes, and halflings in several key ways. They are primarially androgynous and live a lot longer than the others. While this life-span and androgyny is something they share with dwarves, their stature is tall and lanky. There is a high likelyhood of them being double jointed in several places, they also have bone structures that are more likely to allow hyperextension without difficulty.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Anatomically similar to humans, they tend to be lanky with long ears (6-12inces), oversized eyes, and long fingers. They do not show sexualy dimorphic traits as clearly as humans, making them inherently androgynous. Mammary glands only swell during and after pregnancy, while testicles and penii rectract to be almost invisible unless nude.

Genetics and Reproduction
They reproduce slowly with reprodtive cycles only producing an ovulating time twice a year. These often sync in a society with the solstices or equinoxes. This leads to some inferences and social expectations of a Winter child or Summer Child. While these tend not to be true when researched, the mythology remains. Pregnancies take almost ten months.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Due to common phobias including Hemophobia (fear of blood) Elves are genera avoid unnecessary killing. This makes them very good wardens of nature and generally are veiwed as pacifists. With other sentient species they tend to get along well, though are quite condesending of short or short lived races.
