Snippets provides news in short, 60 second clips. They also provide analysis through a wide array of publications and productions. Their investigative journalism is considered some of the best in the modern world.

History
In the winter of 2054, Doug Phillips left his position at Huffington Post to start on an independent investigative journalist channel on YouTube. However, what became more popular was his series titled Snippets, where he would give a 60 second long videos talking about current affairs, keeping only to the bare facts. The refreshing idea was received well, particularly in North America. With the success of Snippets, Doug was able to pursue his investigative journalism while hiring an even more polish team to deliver their short, informative news videos.
Soon, Snippets became a well trusted new franchise, and expanded to provide investigative magazine productions and daily news shows, still keeping their most popular 60 second productions.
In 2075, Amazon, Incorporated bought Snippets and added it to media offerings, still keeping its YouTube channel.
Snippets finally added it's written magazine 2092, most of it for it's long form investigative journalism. They also started a retrospective historical archive for everything reported since Snippet's inception.
