Arqu

The Arqu were an elven people who historically occupied the Old Elvish Mountains of Beurum   An offshoot of the Daphnea, the Arqu originated as groups of Daphnea who left the Sunlit Isles for a variety of reasons. Though some of the first Arqu were exiled criminals, the majority were followers of the Cult of Arqumon, which encouraged life away from the bustle of the city-state. The cult took its five hundred members and moved into the Old Elvish Mountains, forcing away some of the native dragonborns there. They began new lives, breeding with some of the Arqu already living there.   Over time, Arqu scholars acquired the Saga of Branwen, and adopted several customs from its culture, the Ren Berig. The most influential of these was Druidry.
