Blackrock Base Research and Development Sector

A highly-restricted sector of Blackrock Base, also known as the R-Sector, reserved for the laboratories of the Decepticon Military Research Bureau. Here, new weapons are created and tested for use by the Decepticon armed forces. the DMRB's lead scientist for Blackrock Base is Sunstorm, who oversees almost all of the sector's major projects. The Sector contains five subsectors, each located progressively deeper in the base, each as large as one of Service Housing's sectors:

Ballistics and Counterballistics
Bionics
Xenology
Applied Psychometry
Dark Unit

The so-called "Dark Unit" is so secret that its actual function and area of study is unknown, even to the other scientists of the R-Sector. Only personnel with the highest levels of clearance are allowed in.
