Baselard Team

Baselard Team is Blackrock Base's dedicated air defense Seeker team. They're considered competent and reliable as Seekers, though none of them were truly highly ranked at the end of the Great War except their team leader, Nightscream, who was recently shot down. Current members:

Shamal, Baselard 1. The team's current leader after the loss of Nightscream. While skilled and well-disciplined, the two senior members of the team don't consider her ready for leadership, and she's started to believe it, too. Shamal is primarily an air-superiority Seeker, though as with many Seeker leaders, she's capable of carrying multirole payloads. MiG-35S altmode.
Dreadwind, Baselard 2. One of the team's senior members, who fought in the Great War. An acerbic and sarcastic flier with a bad attitude, he nonetheless does excellent work, primarily working as an interceptor. Saab J-35J altmode.
Jinpu, Baselard 3. A new junior member of the team brought on to fill the gap left by Shamal's promotion and Nightscream's absence. Far too enthusiastic, and reckless to boot. The other team members find her a loose cannon. Mitsubishi F-2A altmode.
Nitro, Baselard 4. A senior team member from the Great War. A loudmouth with a distasteful interest in human women, Nitro is quite skilled in close air support. Xi'an JH-7B altmode.
