Day Veil

In the aftermath of The Lost Moment, the Effulgent Fossil was found near a decimated city whose name is now lost to time. As time carried on, more and more survivors of The Lost Moment found the Effulgent Fossil, acting as both landmark and beacon for those looking for a more permanent place to call home.

A group of adventurers were the first to siphon and manipulate the magic leaking from the Effulgent Fossil. As this technique was practiced and honed through the decades, it was used to revitalise the barren land, allowing for agriculture and growth. Magic users became frequent as crops grew abundant, and tent cities became buildings and neighborhoods.

This revitalised land, a 6km radius from the Effulgent Fossil, would become known as Day Veil, and those adventurers would go on to form the first Day Veil Council.

The name Day Veil is derived by the iridescent glow of the Effulgent Fossil during the day, causing a faint 'veil' around the fossil.
