The monumental centrepiece of Day Veil, the Effulgent Fossil is all that remains of a fallen canine-like creature around which the solar city was built around in the aftermath of The Lost Moment. Most historians agree that the Effulgent Fossil functioned as a beacon for all those who had survived The Lost Moment

A fallen creature, what was perhaps a deity in its own right in a time long Lost. Day Veil was built around the Effulgent Fossil, its ancestral citizens finding the ever-glowing shine a beacon and landmark for those in the aftermath of the Lost Moment. The Effulgent Fossil glows gently at all hours of the day, but especially at dawn, when the sun sits perfectly on it, it seems to glow iridescent. Locals insist that if one were to stand near the Effulgent Fossil during these moments, one would be able to hear the whispers of the creature, telling the story of what happened during The Lost Moment.

Secret

The Effulgent Fossil is the remains of Galatrox, a gargantuan celestial canine. Very similar in vibes to Fenris, but with more apathy towards the Ton rather than dislike.
