Roanoke Ridge
A rugged and mountainous terrain, Roanoke Ridge is a heavily forested area. The hills are abundant with coal and precious metals, making mining one of the main professions in the area. Aside from Annesburg and Van Horn Trading Post, the region is quite isolated, with a few scattered villages that have little contact with civilization. Additionally, vicious gangs like the Murfree Brood are known to roam the area, since the law rarely pays attention to the poor community in Roanoke Ridge. Although temperate most of the time, temperatures here can plummet below zero during heavy rain. Temperatures can also soar above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, especially around Van Horn.
