The Ironwood Observatory

History:

Twenty years ago the horrors of witchcraft, and sages plagued the Iron Isles, and many island nations. In an effort to combat the drust, and magical powers of the witches, and warlocks of the sea the Order of Embers have risen. The Order of Embers established a sea faring outpost on the Iron Isles naming the outpost the Ironwood Observatory where studies were conducted into witchery.

Current State:

The once bustling outpost of the Order of Embers fell by the wayside as faction wars, and wars for survival took precident leaving many experiments, and tests to go unfinished on the isle. The snow keeps dormant many creations of old witches, and warlocks. When the waters freeze over to allow for the traversal from the mainland it allowed for Order of Embers members to travel for supplies in the harshest conditions when icebreaking ships were not present.
