Red Sons

Current Status

The Red Sons is a medium-sized pirate crew that is led by Eddard Scrimshaw who split off from the Scrimshaw Mercenaries in Kul Tiras. The crew known for taking easier jobs to start to establish themselves, and take over ships hiring mercenaries, sailors, privateers and brigands along the way. The crew has endured a mutiny where the group grew upset with Eddard as he went against the Red Dawn, and the Black Crusade where they were engaging in ritualistic sacrifices, soul magics, and skin trade. After surviving the mutiny Eddard cut out the fat and now runs a formidable medium crew as he was trying to regain his control to try to find new name for his crew. Willing to take the bad name for some time for his bad luck in decisions he would try to work with the Devil's Den, and a few other crews in the immediate area.   

History

  The Red Sons pirates are a notorious crew known for their clever tactics and their preference for quick and easy jobs. Their leader, Eddard Scrimshaw, is a charismatic figure who commands respect from his crew. While the crew is based out of Freehold in Tiragarde Sound, they have been known to travel throughout Kul Tiras and beyond.   One of their primary sources of income is transporting gold and other valuable cargo between the Investors Bank and various criminal organizations in Boralus. However, they are not above taking on other jobs, such as smuggling illegal goods or raiding unsuspecting merchant ships.   Despite their reputation as opportunistic thieves, the Red Sons have a strict code of conduct and are not known for being unnecessarily violent. They are not interested in drawing unnecessary attention to themselves and prefer to operate discreetly, using their wit and cunning to stay one step ahead of their enemies.   It is unclear whether there is any relation between Eddard Scrimshaw and the Scrimshaws of Boralus, but their similar names have led to speculation among some in the criminal underworld.
