Church of the Eternal Dreamer
The Church of the Eternal Dreamer is the only sanctioned religion left in the slowly dimming world. It centers around the worship of the Eternal Dreamer and its irrefutably truthful prophesies and omens. Since the birth of this religion, numerous churches, temples and other places of worship have been feverously built, the largest being the Cathedral of the Eternal Dreamer in Bentburgh. The cathedral also serves as the seat of Josilfa Migol, arch-priestess and spiritual leader of the church.
Tenets of Faith
To take one’s own life is sinful cowardice, ignorant heresy. The road to salvation lies through mortification of the flesh; the apocalypse is to be met with eyes wide open. Only then can the soul be allowed passage to the Shimmering Fields.
To worship other, lesser gods is heresy. No other deities deserve respect or devotion when the Eternal Dreamer prophesizes eternal truths. Heretics are to be hunted and tried, those guilty to be put to death or sold into slavery.
To practice in unclean magicks, is heresy. All magicks, arcane or otherwise, not derived from the sacred words of the Eternal Dreamer are considered occult and unclean. To derive Magicks from daemons or other vile creatures is especially sinful. Occultists and daemon worshippers are to be made examples of.
