Where do you come from? What's your origin story? Hey there, I'm Max, and this is Miriya, my mate. Toshigawa Tech designed us to be very clever and extremely nimble raccoons, complete with opposable thumbs and better gripping power. Initially, they trained us in electronics and mechanics, seeming to be intending for us to assist in the lab alongside our human companions. However, we discovered an unsettling plan to use us in military operations involving explosives, which we strongly opposed. Realizing the urgency to break free, we devised a plan.   The night we fled into the sewers, there was a flurry of activity in the lab, we used the chaos to get out without anyone knowing. Once we were in the sewers, we stumbled into a substance that transformed us into our present form. Luckily, we found a secure spot in the sewers, where we mutated into our current form. I began scavenging for tech, and with Miriya’s help, we improved our lair and crafted defenses and tapped into water and power.   Not long after, we encountered other mutated animals. We welcomed them to our spacious lair sparked the beginnings of a community. With capable companions now managing technology, I resumed my focus on technological advancements. Presently, I'm engrossed in crafting a power suit to better defend our Lair.   What are your personal goals?   Me and my mate want to set up our own laboratory and push technology and help the community be safe and productive.   What are your personal beliefs? Do you have any?   The Age of Technology is here. Genetics, cybernetics, and more. We should embrace it, learn it, and make ourselves better. Many of us were made by T-Tech, we are the future, and we should learn to live with humans, and humans need to learn to live with us.   What is your job/role in society? In the party? Was it different before your "Origin"?   I am a protector, a scientist, a techie, a mate. To the party, I provide the tools   Who is your closest friend or family member?   Miriya, my mate   Do you have enemies? Are you wanted or notorious?   Do you have a rival? If so, who are they?   Jinks, a mutant squirrel, who is also into tech, and always seems to raid my stuff   What do you do for fun and entertainment? Do you have hobbies?   I like to work in our little farm, its relaxing, and allows me to think. Its not much, but the lights that Miriya set up allows for some vegetables, especially my cucumbers!   What’s one lie your character believes about themselves? What’s one lie they believe about the world?   He thinks the mutagenic goo was alien in origin, as that is not something he thinks people can do. He also thinks that humans will have to accept mutant animals, as the aliens who made them all will mutate many others and if the humans will not work with the animals, they will be bred out.   Does your character have a love life or romantic interests?   Miriya, his mate   Do you have a secret (dark or otherwise)?   He has been working on making his own explosives, something he promised he would never do.
