The General
The General is the leader of the entire Angellonian armies (except for the Zealots) who is the second highest position of authority ("The Divine One" being the highest). no new law concerning the whole entirety of the Angellonian Empire is issued without his approval and is expected to fight many battles during a war and sometimes go in the front lines with his soldiers.
Qualifications
The General must be male, fought in combat, respected by the people for his good deeds and combat prowess, given by the previous General or chosen by "The Divine One" himself. they can also have achieved this rank from rising through the Angellonian army and becoming a commander and be given the title of General by a former General.
Requirements
Only Angellonians can have this title and they must be (most of the time) a descendant of Zhedekar, male and have at least graduated Angellonian boot camp.
Appointment
they must attend a ritual at the temple where they are given a "bone tattoo" with the General's symbol, but if they can not endure the pain and stop the process then they become social outcasts.
Duties
they must partake in most affiars of warfare, must at least fought on the front lines once, hand picking the new commanders and ensuring the safety of the Angellonian race as a whole.
Responsibilities
they must take full responsibility for any defeats on the battlefield (unless someone else volunteers responsibility) and as usual "Death before Dishonor".
Benefits
They are seen as very honorable in their society and highly respected.
Accoutrements & Equipment
They wear the General's uniform and wear wrist blades on both arms and is given "The Spear of Conquest" to protect with his life. he is also given bladed combat boots to use in Angellonian martial arts.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
if they commit treason, commit a highly dishonorable act (such as killing a child) or if "The Divine One" does not see him fit for the position.
History
After the Angellonians attempted to elect Zhedekar as their King, "The Divine One" intervened and told the people He was their King, and so the people instead elected Zhedekar as the General, leader of all the Angellonian armies.
Cultural Significance
Angellonians see them as highly honorable, highly skilled combatants and highly respected leaders while other races have seen them monstrous beings who are merciless tyrants.

Zhedekar for conquering the whole world, renaming it Angellonia. Dophakan for allowing the Zelquisition for the mass genocide that had took place during the era of purification. Ho'zun for being the first general to conquer another galactic empire.
