City of the Holy

The City of the Holy, a sacred place being mentioned in the holy scrolls many times. it was once Agodite territory in ancient times but the inhabitants of the city during the first conquest war welcomed the eight Angellonian tribes into their city and joined them in their fight. And since then it had become a major city of the Angellonian Empire, being a major place for theological education and for those who seek to perform holy works for the holy cause of the Angellonian Empire.   In ancient times it was a wicked city that worshipped many gods until Ashkrnofh had came to the city on his holy quest and converted it's governor which in turn helped convert the majority of it's citizens and since then it had been a city dedicated to the worship of "The Divine Father".

Demographics

around 35% of the inhabitants have some degree of a religious occupation (such as priesthood, "holy scroll speaker", Zealot, or missionary) and 35% are military and the last 30% are youth. Also around 60% of the population are males and 40% are females, also 40% of the population are of elder status.

Government

Since this city is part of the Spadakm tribe's territories, it is governed by the laws of the Spadakm, with their leaders being the priesthood and the High priest being the cheiftain.

Defences

just being on Angellonia prime is a mighty defense all on it's own, but in case if invaders were to come on Angellonia, there are many Zhedakm warriors who march around the city and anti air weapons that are around the city, and the zealots will fight to the death to protect this holy and sacred city.

Industry & Trade

a majority of the population within the empire come here for religious occupations and to further educate themselves in their theology. But afar from the main part of the city, upon the hills there are some Fhedakm craftsman who train and teach other Fhedakm of using a forge and ect. they also have to share the top of the hill to Zhedakm warriors that train there.

Infrastructure

most of it's infrastructure consists of multi-story houses and large plazas. there is also a Spadakm only college that trains Spadakm missionaries and a well built sewage system that leads into a filtriation facility down the river outside the city.

History

Before this city was called "the city of the holy", it was called "the city of the gods". the founder of the city is debated but the one who has more evidence to their claim would have been the first agodite king

Points of interest

The great Angellonian temple is within the city and is the most desired destination to visit amongst Angellonians and those who are non-Angellonian converts.

Architecture

large Angellonian marble carved buildings, engraved with the Spadakm tribal patterns, which are filled with gold.

Geography

It has a river that flows within the city and into a lake. there are some large hills that the city covers, with homes being built within caves and atop of these hills.
