Angellonian Lieutenant
this is the next rank above sergeant in the Angellonian Army. they are the assistants of the captains and are to make sure the captain's orders are to be followed and given to the sergeants.
Qualifications
They must have fought in a few battles and to have led their squad very excellently well to have caught the attention of the division's Captain's again to be given this rank.
Requirements
they must have to been a sergeant first, male and medically well.
Appointment
they are to see the division's captain's and be honored (knighted basically) and be given their new uniform/equipment.
Duties
they are to follow the captain's orders directly and are to make sure that the sergeants are given orders and are to follow them.
Responsibilities
they are to assist the captains when watching the battlefield and are to do some of the more tedious work for the captains (such as organizing documents, battle plans and maps and etc.). they also are to fight in combat when commanded to.
Benefits
they are well respected amongst their inferiors and are able to see the battle plans the captains make with their commanders. they also give out commands to Angellonian Sergeants on the battlefield
Accoutrements & Equipment
they are given a new arm band with their rank and their circlet (from their sergeants days) is given a precious stone in the center (based on their tribe's stone).
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
reason, cowardice (such as retreating from combat when not told to), promotion.
if treason then they would be dragged over to be judged by the tribe fathers and the priesthood who will then most likely be executed.
if cowardice then they would whipped as many times as the soldiers who would have died on the battlefield.
if promotion they would be given a new arm band to to replace their Lieutenant's armband.
