The Shattered Divine
Once, The Immatuar walked unseen among the world, guiding their creations with divine whispers and shaping the flow of magic, fate, and life itself. But that age is over.
The Shattered Divine refers to the great fracture between the mortal and the divine—a wound in reality left by rebellion, ambition, and forbidden power. When Vyrakath, once one of their own, turned against the Immatuar and sought to remake the world in his image, the gods were bound by the Creator’s Law: they could not step into the mortal realm without surrendering their immortality.
To stop him, Elto—the Creator Himself—descended.
What followed was not a battle, but a cosmic undoing. Oceans boiled. Stars bled. Entire civilizations vanished in the clash. When the smoke faded, Vyrakath was cast out—but so too was Elto, shattered and veiled from the world he had made.
Since that day, the gods have been distant echoes. Temples stand silent. Prayers go unanswered. Their presence is still felt—but like starlight, ancient and faint.
Now, relics of the divine lie broken across The Ancient Reach:
- Cracked altars where miracles once bloomed.
- Statues whose eyes weep molten silver.
- Forgotten leylines pulsing with unstable magic.
To some, this is the beginning of a world left to ruin.
To others, it is the test of a world that must now choose its fate without divine hands.
