An Imperfect Path
Apex Genetics was started by Ricardo Khan, the brother of the Perfected Path founder, Benedict Khan. The corporation and the religion are closely tied together, and their aims align, but they are ultimately separate entities.Father of the Uplifted
Apex Genetics is responsible for the current and most stable Uplifted species. They're the only organization to have successfully gotten the Uplift technology to transfer through generations, creating the Corvoids, Trogs, Ook Mooks, and Tankbrains. While they employ a large number of Uplifted and even act as a sort of temp agency for them, they don't maintain any sort of control over the descendants of their creations.Reciprocal Probing
Most recently, Apex Genetics has become extremely interested in alien biology, even going so far as to host Reticulan refugees and fully funding their enclaves in exchange for regular medical examinations, an irony that is rarely lost on the humans around the grays.
