The Age of Calamitous®

The Age of Calamitous is a grounded dark fantasy world where myth and magic linger in the shadows of a harsh reality. Drawing inspiration from real-world history and culture, most regions follow a medieval way of life, with feudal villages and towns, while wealthier kingdoms have entered a more refined era marked by grand architecture and organized militaries. Set in the year 1724, the world has a blend of historical influences without modern technology. There are no firearms or machinery, aside from ship-mounted cannons, so warfare remains rooted in swords, bows, and siege weaponry.
