The Sage of Storms
The giant Gilsdottir was a mythical being said to reside in his castle at the top of Mount Rikr of the Volkoff Mountains. Mount Rikr was incredibly tall, with its summit obscured by the clouds that it passed through. No one had ever managed to see this castle for themselves, since the higher up one climbed, the more difficult it got. Legends say that only the worthy are able to make the impossible climb to the tip in order to seek an audience with Gilsdottir.
Continuing with legends, many tales spoke of Gilsdottir descending from Rikr's peak to confront Charmote the dragon. Gilsdottir had to stop Charmote from wreaking havoc upon the land- without his interference, the Great Flame would lay waste to the whole kingdom and reduce it to ash. The Sage of Storms would apparently call upon mighty winds, sleet, and lightning to make it too dangerous for Charmote to fly, forcing it back underground to its lair.
