The War of Emerald Blood

A war that raged in the early days of Northfeir, fought between the Orcs and Trolls. It began due to the orc mage Ivyar Murkres convincing his fellow orcs that the trolls were actually Demons, which led to a brutal and horrifying slaughter of hundreds of trolls.

The war ended upon the arrival of the Goliaths, called to the land by Oyu Tev at the behest of Elurrean so that they might defeat the orcs. The trolls, their memories endless and lives eternal, remember the goliaths who saved them. The goliaths, however, have long since forgotten.
