Shuru Crypts
After the War of Emerald Blood, the Orcs of Northfeir were left with countless dead. In the frigid cold of the continent, disposal of the dead proved a great challenge. The orcs' solution was to mine through the thick permafrost to deep beneath the surface, carving out vast halls to house their fallen. The warmth of the underground allowed the bodies to decay, and the stones were warded to remove the horrid gasses of death. Every lost warrior was given a crypt befitting their station to rot in, with a stone construct attendant to carry away the bones after flesh had departed. In the modern day, many entrances have been hewn to access the vast network of tunnels, and all deceased orcs are still given a new home to be forgotten in.
