Lich
A Lich is any mortal creature that has attained immortality through the Ritual of Lichdom. Typically, wizards are the only people to attempt this transformation, and usually as a way to forever grow in power and knowledge. Liches are vile beings, and quickly succumb to cruelty and madness as their endless bodies wither away.
