Silverwind
Silverwinds are a large, incredibly fast breed of horse originating on Caedomar in the Helgish Isles. Said to be the result of breeding between a mythical unicorn and an ancient horse breed, Silverwinds have a much denser than usual Vis supply, which allows them to run at speeds far exceeding that of a normal horse.
The Silverwind was a mainstay of the Cadeomar Army cavalry before the union of the Kingdom of Caedomar and the Helgish Empire, with few specimens found outside the island. Since then, the breed has been exported to the rest of the Empire, becoming an integral part of the cavalry across all the imperial forces.
The Silverwind's Anima directs its excess Vis towards a magical strengthening of the muscles across its body, particularly in the legs. This allows Silverwinds to propel themselves at sustained speeds of up to 50mph, with brief sprints speeds recorded as high as 90mph.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Originally found on Caedomar, Silverwinds have been exported across the Helgish Empire and can now be found in armed forces from the highly trained Imperial Army to the cavalry leader of a local militia, albeit sometimes bred with local horses.

Silverwinds are far more intelligent than the average horse. They can understand complex instructions, but may resist training if they do not feel it is in their interest.
