Contagum
The Contagum are creatures that are spawned from The Defilement of Yggdrasil, Vulnum. The closest they can be compared to is a viral plague that spreads from that foul place.
Basic Information
Ecology and Habitats
Whatever habitat they are in will slowly be corrupted just by them being there. If there habitat becomes corrupted enough it can spawn Lesser Contagum.
Dietary Needs and Habits
All Contagum feed upon everything that contains Magical Lifeforce, that also includes any creature that also feeds upon Magical Lifeforce(Vampires, Undead, etc.).
Biological Cycle
They are born from the depths of Vulnum and the more they eat the stronger they become they prefer to eat non-contagum(becuase it makes them stronger quicker), but they will eat anything.
Behaviour
They are Chaoticly violent in nature. Meaning that they are as likely to kill you as they are to kill the other Contagum that has crossed their path. Their are some among them that have developed a intelligence and some among them can even be bargained with, but never should they be trusted.

Most don't have good or even decent vision, but all can seemingly sense Magical Lifeforce.
