The Wood Elves
The wood elves are the indigenous and oldest inhabitants of Ostensia. Most elves are free beings that acknowledge no ruler, and swear no fealty. This has created tension with the sovereign nations of Ostensia.
The wood elves guard many secrets in their treetop cities which are woven and built from livingwood. They maintain a close connection with the denizens of the feywild, a mysterious plane that is unknown and mere fantasy to most within the realm.

Structure
The wood elves do not recognize the colonial structures of other nations in Ostensia. They exist in smaller tribes which exist peacefully amongst themselves.
The wood elves have no concept of property, wealth or territory. This conflicts with the structures being imposed by expanding colonial nations such as the Ryndarien Empire.
Culture
The wood elves have a society that is based around respect for nature. They do not engage in ownership of private property. Instead, they believe that everything belongs to Terrestria, and creatures simply borrow from the earth with the time they are given.
