The Kleini of Terra
Kleini are a species of light spirits found all around the universe. They combine their bodies with their host's, and often activate when their host is in danger or their host, should they know of the Kleini's presence, wishes to activate the Kleini's powers. While some Kleini make their powerful presence known through crystals embedded on their host's body, the Kleini native to Terra make no such effort to show themselves. In addition, while the abilities of Kleini are usually attack-based to protect their hosts, Terra's Kleini focus on healing and protecting their hosts, even sparing them from completely fatal incidents. One example of this is Queen Lethe's case, where she was spared from decapitation. While her head did come off, she retained her life and the full function of her body. This amount of influence, however, is very uncommon.
Basic Information
Anatomy
While Terra's Kleini don't show themselves unless they need to, it's commonly agreed that Terra's Kleini tend to look like a porcelain doll of a human with large angel wings from around the lower spine. This doll-like appearance comes from the small size of Terra's Kleini and the cracks that appear on the Kleini's form when they are injured. Since Kleini don't have physical bodies on their own, however, the cracks and the humanoid appearance are more of a show than anything else.
Genetics and Reproduction
Terra's Kleini, like other Kleini, can cut a small piece of themself off with a pure-gold knife to create a new Kleini. This is usually done after the Kleini's host dies.
Growth Rate & Stages
After being formed, a new Kleini will take on some of the light around them, essentially becoming a fully-grown Kleini. They then find a host and protect them until the host dies, usually of old age. After a short break, usually of a few days or weeks, the Kleini will find a fresh host and combine their bodies once more and repeat the cycle. If a Kleini happens to inhabit a god, they will simply live in the god until the god dies, should they die at all.
Unlike many other types of Kleini, Terra's Kleini are more than happy to share a host with other Kleini, provided the presence of the other Kleini does not harm the host.
Ecology and Habitats
As the name suggests, the Kleini of Terra are found in Terra or in people native to Terra, no matter if they live in Aria, Flora, or Strix. The ratio of Kleini living in these three zones is around 5:70:25, respectively, due to the harsh environment of Strix and the controlling nature of Aria.
Dietary Needs and Habits
While Kleini could simply survive in a light source, combining with a living body allows the Kleini to more easily gain power, allowing them to more easily protect their host.
Behaviour
Kleini latch onto people they wish to protect, and they hide until they are needed, simply savoring the lives of their hosts.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The Kleini can see, hear, taste, smell, and feel anything their light touches, even if the light is nonexistent. Terra's Kleini, with their small stature, can only sense things in a 4-foot radius of themself when they're inside their host's body, but they can sense in an 8-foot radius when alone.

Terra's Kleini are symbiotic with most species on Terra.

Naming Traditions
Kleini are generally not named, although some hosts, if aware of the Kleini, may affectionately name them. Terra's Kleini are generally not seen or nicknamed.
