The Empty Alchemical Soul

Through the vent systems of Aria, there is a place almost unexplainable to mortals. It is the place where Aria's puppets, the 'perfect' souls, are created. Under the god of perfection's harsh guidance, a beating heart, is cut to create new life. Whispers in the lands of the gods claim this heart as that of the goddess of life, Saoirse, and that every sterile cut made by Phoenix in his perfect little fantasyland pains life, a thing that, by definition, is imperfect.

Only two of the puppets have seen this well-hidden soul, and the haunting voice of the alchemical soul has sown their dormant imperfections until they have shattered the dull perfection of their personalities in a fit of self-hatred at the way they mirror their twisted creator. Imperfections nestled in perfect 'joy' led to insanity. The first puppet, alone in his finding, shied away from the world, hiding in the vents near the empty alchemical soul. The second puppet, knowing she wasn't alone with her frustrations concerning 'perfection', went insane, attempting to destroy the strict perfection she was raised in.

The empty alchemical soul appears as a heart larger than a car attached to a wall in a large cavern through the caves of the vents. The blood that beats through its veins powers all of Aria, and the veins are hidden from the perfect puppets. Any puppets like the two who found the soul will become broken, possibly cast to Flora or scorned and sent to Strix. While the fate may not be quite as terrible as Phoenix makes it out to be, it can still destroy the puppet's life.

The heart, the blood of life, is a carefully hidden secret that breaks even the most perfect beings. While a spectacle capable of flipping Aria's twisted ideals of perfection on its head, Saoirse's soul can just as easily break Flora entirely.
