The Ithacan Star League
The Ithacan Star League is a post-war separatist group, established by House Ithaca (and allies) independently from the Imperium of Man.
Ithacaran Nobles split from the Imperium in 892.M41 and restructured the government as the Ithacan Star League. The Minoan Noble Dynasty relocated to the mining planet Hades and maintained ties with the separatist Ithacan Star League.
From all accounts, the Westguard and Macharius Dynasty were all eliminated during the coup along with several minor Houses - speculation is that these noble houses refused to be part of the rebellion against the Imperium’s ancient customs.
Tantalus Voidstation is the capital of the Ithacan Star League.
Current Known Status:
The Assembly Council was disbanded after a public revolt. This was fermented by the Aquilan Society, a persecuted group dedicated to restoring the Imperial History of this part of space. The revolution was very brief, lasting only a few days. Now, Tantalus (and by extension the Ithacan Star League) is a Military Dictatorship run by Supreme Admiral Graves under a pseudo-Imperial organisational structure. Tantalus has been in high-gear preparing for the Ork attack.Official Star League History (Propaganda):
The war ended around 100 years ago - or more accurately no-one was left to fight it. Estimates suggest that less than 5% of the total pre-war population survived. New civilisations arose from the scattered pockets of survivors. With speed and a sense of postwar unity these shattered survivor groups merged and built new homes. The Ithacan Star League formed at the edge of the system, mostly centered around the wreckage of a vast series of space stations and gigantic mining asteroids that now form what’s known as the Charybdis Graveyard. This provided a massive amount of raw resources to help rapidly restart civilisation.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
