Zion Republic Nation
Zion Canyonlands (Resembling much of the Grand Canyons):
A place of red rock sediments carved into rigorous canyons by a river system (The Narrows). In most of the lands, the river has dried into a mere stream.
On the canyon surface, the land is plagued with unpredictable sand/dust storms and tornados, which drift their way over from the plains. The temperature can reach unbearable degrees for human travel. Thus, it is not recommended to travel on the surface.
The capital district is Lazarus, rests at the end of a canyon crack. The district itself overlays a small but steady stream (one of the few remaining the Narrows’ river system). The city actually covers the majority of the stream, with glass structures filling in the gap between the two canyon walls (like an epoxy wood table). This district hosts the Cartesian Institute (The Institute).
Also contains Ranger Outpost Prometheus, it is an underground bunker found in the middle of the desert, marked by a sole shed acting as an entrance and elevator to the outpost.
