Bioneural Intelligence Bunny
"Attention all troops: Several Star Spawn vessels have entered the system, intercept them immediately!" -BunnyBunny is a Bioneural Intelligence that acts as an advisor for the Order of the United Colonies. Copies of her are distributed to all major ships within the OUC´s space fleet, with their data being syncronized daily, giving every Bunny the same memories despite their different personalities. She is a major side character in TERRA AFTER EARTH.

Personal history
Since Bunny is not an AI but a BNI, she´s not simply a program, but a transcription of an actual human brain meaning that she has an organic component and is in fact, alive. Bunnys origins are rooted within the OUCs R&D section, where a team of scientists was originally working on a super computer that would be able to assist humanity in their fight against the Star Spawn. The plan was to mimic a human consciousness as it was more complex than any computer mankind knew at the time, since no computer would ever be able to actually feel and understand things such as loyalty or empathy. However, the team struggled to actually build a new brain from the ground up, but there was a way to actually transcribe human brain patterns into an AI, making it a Bioneural Intelligence, rather than an Artificial Intelligence. The only problem was, the procedure was very invasive and would kill any subject guaranteed.
Overlord almost ended the project, thinking it was too unethical to sacrifice more soldiers for a cause that might never truly work out, if it wasn´t for her daughter Bonnie DeWitt, who volunteered as a subject. Bonnie was only 16 when she was diagnosed with a severe case of Creutzfeld-Jakob disease, leaving her with only a few years until she would die. Since there was no way out for her, Bonnie asked her mother to atleast let her participate in the project so she could atleast do her part in protecting humanity.
Overlord agreed with a heavy heart, but she knew there was no way to save her daughter, and so, in 3398, the procedure would be carried out, peacefully killing Bonnie and giving birth to Bunny, transcribed from Bonnies brain pattern.

Employment
As the OUCs central BNI, Bunny is responsible for managing most of humanities infrastructure within the Galileo 1641-B star system, as well as controlling the automated defense weaponry such as ballistic missiles either intended for deterring asteroids or neutralizing Star Spawn hideouts. She also has a great role in planning military operations, often giving advice on strategy and doing research as she is connected with the OUCs central archive. While Bunny herself is not stationed on a specific spaceship, her "sisters" are assigned to many ships in the OUCs space fleet, responsible for managing thier core systems as well as to aid the crew in calculating courses.
