Norivail, Guardian of the Empty Night
Delegate Norivail (a.k.a. Death, the spirit guide, the Empty Night)
There are actually two versions of Norivail acknowledged in Teranya. In the Mermish religion, Norivail is Teranies' husband, and Father of the Delegates. He is the Death to her Life, the Hades to her Persephone. In Niadlic religion, Norivail is the gender non binary spirit that guides souls to the deathly citadel, where they rest for a while before reincarnation. In this version, Norivail is not the father of the delegates, nor Teranies' husband. However, many Niadla believe the pair still had a romantic connection of some type. In both versions, one thing can be agreed. Norivail represents Death. And death is not the end.

Back when the land was desolate, and the seas were plentiful, Norivail found Teranies bathing in a waterfall, unaware that she was the World keeper. Striken by her beauty, they watched her for years until she finally invited them to swim bedside her.
