Eastgate
Eastgate is one of the slums of outer Craysilt. It is a poor section of the city, although it is not unpoliced, and seems to be refreshingly gang-free. This is all an illusion, however, as the infamous Moorehead Brothers make Eastgate their base of operations.
Demographics
Every species and ethnicity are represented here. Many of eastgate's residents are mom-and-pop store merchants, and self employed blue collar tradesfolk.
Government
The slum is the purview of The Moorehead Brothers, and they like to have things nice and steady. Chaos is bad for business, after all.
Infrastructure
The roads and alleys are run down and badly in need of repair. Potholes are the norm, and the paved streets are so dirty they can be ankle deep in mud. Filth litters the gutters.
However; the water mains and sewage systems are in good repair and perfectly operable. Plumbing in the homes and businnesses themselves is hit or miss, however, as it costs money to hire plumbers who actually know what they're doing.

History
Once, Eastgate was a blossoming and brilliant welcome to the city of Craysilt; it is built upon the ruins of itself many times over.
Architecture
Most of the buildings in Eastgate are plank and frame shacks, built to last just as long as someone keeps repairing them. They have a tendency to fall into ruin in a few short months, elsewise.
