The Dwarven Royal Family is a relatively traditional inherited monarchy. The culture and work ethic of the Dwarves really foments a sense of responsibility and empathy for their people, so insurrections are extremely rare.

They own gemstone and precious metal mines, and sell the polished granite slabs many of the 'topsiders' use for their countertops. They have a legendary hoard of treasure.

Various small temples and churches are spread throughout the entire city. The dwarves are surprisingly open and supportive of differing faiths.

Goats and swine are grown, and a plethora of medicinal herbs and spices. Delicate and airy jewelry, masterful crystalware, gold and silversmiths, famed weapons and armor smiths.
Infrastructure
There are soaring causeways and cozy bridges, lawns of plush moss and peat, and aqueducts supplying water to Lighthouses, farms, and homes throughout the entire realm. Every residence has plumbing and running water. They have no 'police force', per se, but do have 'Kingsmen', or civil servants, specifically to protect the people.
Mythology & Lore
Their mythology and legend structure all include their ancestors, and generally, one of the scions will do something stupid, feel terrible about it, go and fix it, and proclaim the relevant lesson of the parable or fable towards the end. Pretty formulaic.
