Ioun's Keepers
In 1491 AB, In the wake of the Seccond Barrage, 726 years before the Emergence, a group of Clerics and Paladins in what is now northern The Divine Kingdom of V'rala Xune gathered in secret. The purpose, to discuss nationalism and the defecit to the histories of the world. Over the past 1500 years, as empires rose and fell, and as the barrages pummeled libraries and temples, histories have been rewritten, lost, or forgotten. They decided to begin work, unaliigned with any specific government or organization, in gathering and preserving knowledge of the present and past. Thus, Ioun's Keepers were born.
Funding their libraries through donations after healing and local subsities (the bulk of the keeper library was free to use, with only a few resticted areas), the keepers thrived and expanded. Their reach was wide, but not deep; As they had many cites in V'rala Xune, but due to distrust of V'rala Xune was common after the war of Expansion and The Keepers had troubles gaining significant footholds in other nations. However, after the Arcane War, their reach exploded. Reaching out through charity work in war-torn towns and being accepting those with the arcane gifts allowed the keepers to proliferate throughout Dux'ari.
