Liquthas
Liquthas, or the "Floating City of Levialune", is a settlement operated by Levialune that floats atop the waves of The Whispering Deep. Liquthas is a marvel of Levianese engineering and druidcraft, and serves as a major rest stop for travelers of the Whispering Deep, an area of commerce between nations, and is the primary means through which the people of Levialune interact with the surface world.
Industry & Trade
The primary industry of the floating city is the sale of Lagh, the miraculous medical substance harvested at the bottom of the ocean. Beyond the sale of Lagh, the city is also an important rest stop and trading port for travelers making their way across the Whispering Deep.
Infrastructure
The floating city is built upon a large, interconnected circular network of walkways and platforms. The outer edge of the city is dominated by docks, shipyards, and moorages for ships from the various surface nations of Tellandria. The relative size of the buildings built upon the platforms of the city increases as you get closer to the city center, which itself is dominated by a group of towers known as the Skyreach Pillars. The entire city is anchored to the ocean floor thousands of feet below the surface by massive stipes of kelp.
Geography
The Floating City of Levialune rests upon the surface of the Whispering Deep. The ocean waters within a mile of the city are perpetually calm, owing to the powerful water magic of Levialune.
