Tomes (a.k.a. The Rat King)
The leader of a small band of thieves, saboteurs, and vandals who migrate quickly from place to place. Tomes is quiet and confident, oddly wary of hidden entrances and valuables, as well as the lore of the items procured, he always seems capable of navigating himself to be in just the right place in the right time. He is cold, calculated, and careful and leverages his position to gather all info he might need.
Tomes is the physical avatar of Vecna, the Whispered One. He prizes secrets above all things, using them against his enemies.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Tomes true form is thin and athletic, leveraging more his knowledge than his strength to do his work. His smooth and clammy skin is nearly fluorescent white with dark rings around his pure-white eyes. His hair is equally colorless, cut short and left unfettered where it frizzles out. He has no preferred form, oftentimes leveraging his shape-shifting abilities to demoralize foes or sneak through compounds.

Special abilities
As the Avatar of Vecna, Tomes has accurate knowledge of all things kept secret including names redacted, thoughts suppressed, and secrets kept but is limited to the capacity of his mortal form, having to choose from this cloud of information each long rest. As all people have their own secrets, he is able to peer into a person's mind at will and pull one secret without any resistance, the tighter someone keeps it hidden, the easier it is to see. On a touch, Tomes can peer into the history of items, pulling from them information on its previous use. He also gains Telepathy up to 60 ft.
As a Changeling, Tomes is able to shift his form to any creature he has seen in some way or simply alter his form to whatever shape he desires.
